Amber Ridinger, founder of Lumiere and mother of three came to East of Normal with a wish: to send an appreciative message to women everywhere for Mother’s Day.
East of Normal shaped that wish into a heart-warming homage to mothers and daughters. And in “Day in the Spa” we went inside her real home and, like a fly on the wall, captured intimate moments of tenderness, fun, and love between her and her daughter. Our light-soaked, unstaged, fanciful footage shows that adventure exists in the small moments we share, and it pampers more than any spa service.
